Steve

Steve and I became 'official' TEN years ago on February 12, 1999. I have been thinking a lot about him, how the time has gone by so fast, and how much I love him.
I will never be able to thank him enough for all that he has done for me. How he is ALWAYS by my side listening to me and supporting me. I am SO lucky to have him!!!
Being together for ten years is a big deal, and I couldn't let this month go by without recognizing my fantastic and amazing husband!
Thank you, Steve, for being mine!

Is it February already...

It amazes me how fast time is going by...especially now that I have a child. It seems like everyday Preston is doing something new. I LOVE IT! He recently started to enjoy playing in his crib..not sleeping..playing..when you say 'jump' he stomps his feet so fast and has the biggest smile on his face. He also LOVES reading books and having us read books to him.
I couldn't help taking a picture of Steve reading to him..TOO CUTE!
My sister so bravely, IN ALL SENSE OF THE WORD, said that she would babysit 3 of her neices on the Lambourne side. She had 5 girls, under the age of 9, for 7 days all by herself! I have said it before, and I am going to say it again...SHE IS SUPERWOMAN! She was able to be relieved from her super babysitting duties for 2 days and stay at my mom's house...so on Friday, Michelle and I took our kids to the Draper Temple open house. Preston LOVED the bus ride! Sorry the picture isn't the greatest..the bus ride was really bumpy. I am hoping Michelle got a better picture... The temple is beautiful! Even though it hasn't been dedicated yet, you could still feel the spirit. I am so glad we went!

Than on Saturday, Valentine's Day, we went to lunch with my family at the Cheesecake Factory..my dad is so great. Every year since I can remember he would always get me, Michelle and my mom roses. Well...this year was no different. All his girls got roses and the sweetest cards.

Here we all are eating..(Darren had to work so he isn't pictured)

Sweet Desi enjoying her grilled cheese

Here I am with my boys

Here is my dad with his girlsAfter lunch, we went back to my mom's house and hung out. I LOVE how my family can just hang out and have such a fun time. Preston and London loved playing with the dishwasher...another favorite toy for Preston. Me, being the #1 mom that I am, let Preston take the botton rack out and push it around...I thought it was so cute how he could manuver that big ol' thing, so I decided to video him..so lucky me, I have him on camera pushing the rack into the plant pot and falling on the rack..yep FALLING ON TO THE RACK with all those spikes...I am not going to post the video because it makes my stomach hurt and I don't want anyone turning me into child services....other than that..it was such a FANTASTIC day, and I can't even tell you how much I love spending time with my family.

Here are some pictures of Preston and London playing BEFORE I vowed NEVER to let him play with the bottom rack again..

I also need to give a big CONGRATS to Ryan and Allie!! THEY ARE ENGAGED!! They are getting married on May 2nd and I couldn't be happier for them!
