October, November, December

I had to start this post with these two random pictures! He is just too cute!

Preston was the cutest tiger for Halloween! He LOVED Trick-or-Treating! It was fun watching him knock on the doors and say 'Trick or Treat' all by himself!

Darren was at my parents house Halloween night, and when Preston, my mom and I weren't trick-or-treating, Preston was right by Darrren's side. Darren was laying on the floor studying for a big exam but it didn't matter to Preston, as long as he was right by Darren, it didn't matter what they were doing.

My Grandma Emma and Grandpa John are so fantastic. For Halloween, they visited each family and brought their homemade chocolate suckers and a pumpkin. Preston LOVED my Grandma's hat. Preston has been obsessed with spiders and spider webs, so he thought it was the coolest thing when she had on her witch/spider web hat.

For those who know me, know that I absolutely do not like anything about the snow, but I have had to put my hatred aside, get Preston all dressed up in his 'winter' gear because he loves it!

Steve and Preston turned off our sprinklers a couple weeks ago. The neighbors loved how Preston was the one with the socket wrench helping Steve turn them off. Preston LOVES helping Steve and using his tools. It is so fun to watch him!

So today was another day when I just had to suck it up and get Preston all dressed to play outside, and I am glad we did. He had so much fun and it was cute watching him walk around with his snowsuit on!

We celebrated November/December birthdays with my mom's family on Sunday. Here he is with a dinosaur that he got from my aunt and uncle, and he hasn't put it down since he got it. Preston used to sleep with a monkey, but the past four nights he has wanted to sleep with the dinosaur. He makes me laugh!

It is so crazy to think that Preston will be TWO at the end of the month! I love how he expresses himself. I love how he talks and how he notices everything. I love that he loves cars. He has to start our car EVERYTIME we go somewhere. He loves looking under cars at the 'big engines' and everytime a hummer drives by, he yells 'MOM! HUMMER!' I also love how he loves tools. He has his own pretend set and he is constantly 'fixing' things around the house. I love being his mom!!

Bear Lake 1, 2, & 3, mowing the lawn ...and IT'S A GIRL!

With each trip to Bear Lake, you can bet that Steve will find something to fix. This year it was the kitchen faucet and then he added a dryer vent. Preston loved helping him!

I love this picture! We told Preston to 'strut his stuff' and so he started walking funny...he makes me laugh!

BEAR LAKE FUN #2:
We took my family up to the cabin
THANK YOU FOR COMING! It was so much fun!!

Of course Preston had to show Grandma Bev the tractors..

Allie and Ryan caught a frog, and Preston wasn't too sure about it. He loved watching it jump around, but as soon as any of us held it, he didn't like it at all :0)

I love this picture of Darren playing the guitar! I think this picture should be the cover of his first album :0)

Preston was having such a fun time throwing the dirt! He got it ALL over him...and everyone else

Preston on one of the tractors...
BEAR LAKE FUN #3:
We went with the Warner's and the Dam's.
Thank you guys so much for coming! We loved hanging out with you guys, staying up late and laughing until one of us almost peed our pants :)

Preston loved hanging out with Gracie Lu!

Yep, Preston loved having the Easy Cheese poured directly into his mouth..I think we have Heather to thank for this one :0)

Preston loved running in the water and watching the water splash...

Here are the guys just hanging out...

and of course we had to throw dirt again and get it all over...
All three trips were so much fun! Can't wait for next year!

Side notes...
Preston LOVES helping with mowing the lawn...here are some cute pictures of him helping Darren and Steve, and then just some cute random pictures...

Preston LOVES the goats at the Thanksgiving Point petting zoo..we spend more time with the goats than with any other animal! He loves how they lick his hands.

Preston is a huge fan of corn on the cob....obviously...
We also have some exiting news!! I am about 5 and 1/2 months pregnant and we are having a GIRL!
Her due date is January 7th, but hopefully she will come before the end of the year...keep your fingers crossed

June and St. George

I have said it before, and I will say it again...I LOVE THE MONTH OF JUNE!
It's super busy for us, but I love it! Steve's birthday is on the 13th, mine is on the 18th and our anniversary is on the 20th!
and Preston's half birthday is on the 28th :0) so now he is one and a half years old.

Here is Steve opening his presents..Thank you everyone for the fun gifts!

Here he is blowing out his candles

I don't have any pictures of me, but thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and presents!! You all are the best!

My high school 10 year reuion was on our anniversary, so we headed to dear ol' Jordan High with Heather and Jeff. It was really fun. It was fun to see so many old friends that I haven't seen for years.

Here is a picture of me and Steve on our way to the reunionErin, me and Heather 1998

Erin, me and Heather 2009 (for some reason, I have noticed that when a picture is taken, most of the time, we always line up the same..)

After the reuion, me, Steve, Heather, Jeff, Erin, and Mark headed to Heber to Mark and Erin's fabulous cabin. Heather bought me a DELICIOUS, partially hydrogenated oil, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial flavoring FREE birthday cake!! (as seen above) So they sang Happy Birthday/Anniversary to me and Steve and then we stayed up until 2:00 am playing games and laughing harder than I have laughed in a long time! It was SUCH a fun night!

The next morning was Father's day, so us girls made our hubby's breakfast.. Here is the beautiful sight that we woke up to. We were surrounded by fog for most of the morning. I wish I would have taken a picture of all the food! We did SUCH a good job! We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns!! It was quite the man's breakfast. Then we cleaned up and headed home.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR SUCH A FUN TIME!

St. George is my happiest place on earth (next to Hawaii, but I don't get to Hawaii near as much as St. George). I love everything about it. We headed down with my fantastic family on July 1st and sadly came back July 6th. It was SOOOO much fun. In attempts to save my son, I dropped my camera in the pool, so I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted, but here are a few...
Preston LOVES swimming! It was so cute! We would put him on his stomach to swim him around and he would automatically pull his hands up to chin!
See what I mean..he couldn't stop smiling, laughing and screaming the whole time he was in the pool.

Preston, my sexy mom, and me

Every morning Preston would ask for Darren..he would lay by Darren until Darren was ready to get up and play...oh Preston makes me laugh!

On Sunday, we went to sacrament meeting and then went to see the temple grounds. Here we are, minus the sweet Lambourne family.

THANK YOU MOM AND DAD FOR THE FANTASTIC TRIP!! Only 363 days left until our annual Terry Family St. George vacation :0)

Random....Preston obviously has been watching Steve. I found Preston 'measuring' the wall the other morning...oh the love of tools begins!
